Indy will be getting warmer temperatures this week and that means this snow will melt and water can be pumped off your cover. Remember that excessive water allowed to collect can significantly damage your cover. After you remove the water, bring your cover pump and hose back inside to warm up and prevent freeze damage to them. Also never attempt to operate your automatic pool cover with standing water on it. If your pool water level is low and the cover isn't floating as it does normally, add some water to the pool- and keep an eye on the pool water level to be sure the pool isn't leaking. If you have concerns about your cover text me or submit the contact form, and we'll take a look.
If you have a mesh winter safety cover, you will want to see if your water level has gotten too high, as the covers let rain and snow water though. Look though the mesh and see if the water needs lowered. We actually like the water well below the skimmer and the skimmer pumped dry for pools with winter safety covers.
